About Program

As a part of the Amber Foundation Uganda program, you will be able to help bring a proper education to the less fortunate children of Uganda.

Amberose and Primerose, the two incredible founder of this non profit who currently host 25 orphans are currently building a school in order to offer the best chances in life to these children. The goal of it is to providing to them and every child of the community a proper education for free, without discrimination of background or gender.

But to build this do this, your help is greatly needed! Along with Ambrose, Primrose and their local volunteers, you will participate in building the school, take part in the life of the community, visit the surroundings and share meals and special moments with them and the kids.

Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. However, despite best intentions, some organizations offering placements in orphanages may unknowingly place children in danger. You can read about the potential dangers of orphanage volunteering here.
