Price Details
A deposit of $150 is required a month before your arrival in Uganda. This amount will come out of the $500 you will be asked to contribute per month. This deposit is non-refundable. The fee covers support while you prepare for Uganda, airport pickup, transport to Bulenga, food and accommodation while volunteering, supervision, and a donation to KACCAD.
The fee does not cover airline tickets, visas, vaccinations, drinking water, leisure activities, or medical services.

About Program

Volunteer opportunities are available to people 18 years old and above. We invite volunteers during any part of the year seeing that we have many projects that are on going as well as those connected with our two affiliated orphanages, schools that run only during the school session and Health center. As primary languages in our area of Uganda are English and Luganda, volunteers must speak English. Volunteers will be involved with projects including: Teaching at our two orphanages, community schools around us, Resource center, school construction, poultry farming and house construction and repairs, Building water sources, home repairs, health/HIV/AIDS sensitization, home visits and simple home care to people living with HIV/AIDS, youth and child education, animal rearing support, water and sanitation (including well construction) support, vocational skills development, Construction of Health Counseling Center for HIV/AIDS and volunteer centre , Family planning, and rehabilitation.
