About Program

In July 2022, southeast Kentucky saw record levels of rain which resulted in catastrophic flash flooding. All Hands and Hearts has established a base of operations in Perry County and is launching a six-week flood relief program. Volunteers are welcome to join us between August 6, 2022, and September 11, 2022. Work will consist of traditional flood response work including mucking, gutting and mold sanitation as well as other needs that are identified by the community such as preparing meals for affected community members and helping with the distribution of clean water.

We are accepting both day and residential volunteers with no minimum time commitment required.

This program is currently not being promoted on Go Overseas by its provider. Check with All Hands and Hearts for the most up-to-date information regarding the status of this program.
