About Program

Yanapuma Foundation and Spanish School offers a wide range of options for volunteering, learning Spanish, and traveling in Ecuador and beyond! We collaborate with over 35 grassroots organizations and communities in Quito, Cuenca and around the country, including on the Galapagos Islands.

You can study Spanish in Quito or Cuenca, or in the Amazon rainforest or the Pacific coast, and work as a volunteer with children in daycare centers and schools, teach English in high schools, do reforestation and conservation work, animal rescue, organic gardening and farming, community development and more! You can even travel down the Avenue of the Volcanoes, explore the Amazon rainforest or Galapagos Islands and relax at the Pacific coast.
