About Program

Creative Cultures India is a 7-week artistic adventure travelling through South India and culminating in an artist residency in the Himalayas. Workshops in Film, Dance, Photography, Writing, Theatre, Painting, Drawing, Textile Printing and Ceramics led by practicing artists are designed to ignite inspiration and orient you to the people, places, and movements that shape creative practices in India. Along the way, you'll explore timeless traditions and the latest trends in art, culture and cuisine connecting with artists and craftspeople through the common language of creativity.

The program culminates in a 3-week artist residency in Dharamsala in the Himalayan foothills. Focus on one discipline—Writing, Performance, Film, Photography, or Studio Art—and engage in hands-on classes guided by practicing artists. Live the artists life in a creative community and craft a personal portfolio that showcases the ideas and inspiration gathered throughout your artistic journey.
