Semester at Surf - Central America

If you are looking for reviews on this program, you wont find any. It has never been done before. Those who join us this spring with be the first cohort to travel through Central America while taking 15 college credits, surfing (or learning), and being immersed in coastal communities in Panama, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua. Students will travel overland to coastal destinations learning how to conduct field research and to examine comparative tourism, socio-political, and energy/environmental topics. We are essentially combining all of our great short term programs into one semester long journey!

Courses offered include Contemporary Issues in Central America (3 Credits), Sustainable Tourism (3 Credits), Energy and Environment in Central America (3 Credits), Field Research Methods (3 Credits), Spanish (3 Credits).
