About Program
This 11 day program is a perfect way to explore sustainable development initiatives in Thailand from both rural and urban perspectives with plenty of cultural immersion activities. You'll learn about the Thai way of sustainable development - Sufficiency Economy Philosophy (SEP) which aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
You'll contribute to and learn about responsible tourism by participating in community based tours. Participate in mangrove tree planting, organic farming and sustainable product creation such as making bio-extract soap from natural ingredients, Thai massage techniques using eco-friendly compress balls, upcycling and solar cell panels workshop and no-carbon village projects. Discover Mangrove ecosystem and restoration methods under royal initiative. Explore vibrant floating markets, the unique folding umbrella train market on a boat tour and participate in a volunteering activity. This program is 100% carbon neutral.
