About Program

Kroka's semester programs combine wilderness adventure with conscious living to create a unique physical, social, and spiritual journey for young people.

Students come to truly depend on and support one another as they work, live, and travel together. It is inevitable that one’s true nature is exposed through such a lifestyle. Our students’ ages range from 17-19. This multi-age learning community allows for younger students to be inspired by older team-members, while the older students are asked to rise up and provide modeling and guidance for their entire community.

A team of devoted and passionate teachers helps to facilitate this experience. Whenever possible we engage in “slow travel,” traveling by our own power using traditional modes of transportation. We strive to honor the ways of the past, and to respectfully and responsibly use what our natural world provides.
