About Program

Year & Gap: Depending on which region you are placed in, you will have the chance to learn one of three languages spoken in Bosnia and Herzegovina - Bosnian, Serbian, or Croatian. Throughout your year, you’ll have the opportunity to see many different parts of the country and experience BiH in the best way. Bosnians are very direct communicators. They also love discussion and relish a good debate, whether it is about politics, environmental issues or who performed best at the last winter Olympics. Students usually go to school Monday through Friday although in some schools, the classes are only in the morning. While others are sometimes one week in the morning and the other week in the afternoon. The class size varies from 20-30 students.
