Chile was amazing!

My experience in Chile was great! My family was very loving and made me feel like I was part of the family. At school, it was great because everyone was curious about me and I got to make lots of friends. That is where my Spanish really improved.

Although it was a short stay, I felt like I got to know Chilean culture and history very well. My host family took me to explore different parts of Santiago, see the biggest skyscraper in South America, visit local museums and government buildings. I was amazed to see how similar our cultures are, and how easy it is to adapt to living there.

The Nacel staff was supportive every step of the way. The process went smoothly and I felt accompanied every step of the way.

For those interested in traveling to enhance their Spanish skills, consider visiting Chile! You will love the peace of life, the food, and the warmth of the people. Make sure to eat “arroz con carne.” You will love it!

My 4 month exchange to Chile

I’ve recently come back after completing a 4 month High School Exchange to Chile. I had the experience of a lifetime. As I am British it took me a while to find a company that accepts British students, as exchanges aren’t as popular here. After I found Nacel I couldn’t wait to go on exchange and their support was amazing. I also was given the opportunity to visit Easter Island on my exchange. It was such an eye-opening experience and throughout the whole 4 months I had a great time: I wish I could have stayed longer. If you are thinking about an exchange I would 100% recommend that you go for it. You won’t regret your decision and you’ll have such a great experience. I’ve returned home with lifelong friends, the experience of a lifetime and being speak to speak another language. ¡Gracias!

Cons
  • I think a welcome camp would have been good at the start.

My frist experience with Nacel

My first Experience with nacel was 10 years ago when i did my first solo trip to Chile! Back in the days there were no companies that would provide the service of High School Exchanges and I found nacel online. Since day one Nacel was super responsive to me and very professional with the advice about what program would be the best for me. So at the end, even though they were based in France I enrolled in a high school program in Chile for some weeks. My family and I were a bit nervous because all the process was done remotely but i had all of my papers in time to enjoy of my experience.

The time in Chile was amazing and the host family was super lovely. I still consider them as my own family. I hope I can come and visit them sometime. If you are thinking in traveling to Chile, Nacel is surely a great option for your! I highly recommend this program!

Noelia :)
