About Program
Are you ready to invest your summer in something meaningful—exploring Costa Rica, strengthening your Spanish language skills, and gaining international and intercultural experience before college?
Join Intercultura Costa Rica for an unforgettable summer in Costa Rica!
You will spend one week at our city campus and one week at our tropical beachfront campus. You will live with a host family for the 1st week, and in a hotel with AC and pool at the beach for the 2nd. You will develop creativity, build independence, and connect with people from around the world. You’ll immerse yourself in Costa Rican culture, explore stunning beaches, volcanoes and rainforests, and learn about the rich history of local and Indigenous communities.
Along the way, you’ll develop your Spanish and other lifelong skills—like empathy, social responsibility, and confident intercultural communication.
Camp sessions are offered:
#1: the 2nd & 3rd weeks of July
#2: the 3rd week of July and the 1st week of August
Program Highlights
- Daily interactive Spanish immersion classes, local family stay, hotel with AC and pool
- Plenty of fun and adventurous activities: Surf, kayak, snorkel, zip-lining, waterfall hike and more.
- Local indigenous communities visist
- Off-the-beaten path excursion to jungles, beaches and volcanoes.
- Nighthike in the rainforest
