Come and join us as we unearth the civilizations of the past that shaped the way we live and act. This is an academic journey you will not forget.

MEI's International Business program may begin in a boardroom, but it thrives on the streets of the world's great financial centres. Fast-paced and filled with the energy of real estate acquisition, business development, and investment portfolios, this program takes you to some of Europe and North America's business epicentres: Toronto, New York City, London, Paris, the Swiss Alps and Munich.

Exploring the shores of the Balearic Sea in Barcelona and the edges of the Atlantic coast of Lisbon, we travel across this diverse land of art and culture. From the romantic writings of Miguel de Cervantes in Don Quixote to the magical realism of Gabriel García Márquez’s, One Hundred Years of Solitude, you will be mesmerized by the genius and depth of human creativity.

Explore the making of the Western world and discover how the beliefs and ideas are more important than the dates and names. This epic summer journey traces the past 500 years of our modern history as we travel through Madrid, Barcelona, Costa Brava, Lisbon and the Algarve.
Many of our programs are based on the Humanities, so related academic work includes becoming an expert and then giving a tour of a famous site, or writing and performing poetry and other creative work. We do have a Biology course that focuses on lab work in Costa Rica and other science-based activities.
