About Program
Spend your summer discovering German culture as part of a German family. Start your day with a Nutella-centric breakfast, bike through the countryside, and experience Germany’s unique blend of tradition and modernity with your new friends. For this program, our partners in Germany choose families who either have teens at home or who can introduce you to people your age in the extended family or neighborhood.
You will be met at the airport by a local coordinator and escorted to your host family. Depending on when you arrive and where you are placed, you may have the opportunity to shadow a host sibling for the final weeks of the school year. After that, enjoy summer vacation with your host family as you eat, sleep, and play like the Germans do. Enjoy! Throughout your stay, you will have the support of the local coordinator.
