About Program
CPE Vet Prep offers advanced veterinary students a hands on, supervised clinical, anesthesia and surgical skills training externship in small animals. Placements are in a 24 hour veterinary clinic in Costa Rica and program provides students with a number of opportunities to improve confidence in surgery and anesthesia as well as clinical areas. Limited large animal and wildlife opportunities are also available. Service provided to local underserved pet populations and offers a high quality and volume spay and neuter program.
