Nursing Visiting Professional Programme

Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, London UK, are offering registered international nurses and midwives the opportunity to experience the role of nurses within an NHS hospital through our Visiting Professional Programme. Our programmes run from 4 – 8 weeks and visiting nurses can choose to be placed within a specific speciality, we have 13 available departments including surgery and oncology, or to rotate throughout a combination of clinical areas.

The programme is observational and set within the hospital work place. Visitors would be paired with a supervisor from our expert nursing team who would ensure that all of their development needs and expectations are met. It is a fantastic opportunity for nurses and midwives to learn new skills that can be taken back to their place of work.
