About Program
English Teachers in Okinawa provides this exciting and unique program that offers participants the chance to study the Japanese or English language, while learning valuable job skills during their internship at local companies here in Okinawa. Classes take place Monday through Friday and accommodate students from basic to advanced levels.
Internships in Okinawa provide a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Japanese & Okinawan cultures as you gain valuable workplace experience and Japanese or English speaking ability in the process. Our internships are available at companies from several different industries ranging from luxury goods to information technology. All internships are unpaid. University credit is available for both studying and interning.

The normal program is 4 weeks, but we can also tailor programs from 2 weeks to 3 months. You can start to study Japanese or English and interning right away as our programs start every month. Housing is included in the program fees.
