About Program
Join our team as a Dolphin & Whale Research Assistant and make a difference for the many cetacean species of Huatulco, Oaxaca, Mexico. We operate a year round cetacean conservation program from our location in the tropical Mexican Pacific. Huatulco is home to two unique subspecies of dolphins that are relatively unknown to science, enjoys a yearly migration of Humpback whales and to date we have encountered 10 other cetacean species. Huatulco's offshore seascape is what makes our location unique at the meeting point of the Gulf of Tehuantepec with the Pacific Ocean and our proximity to deep ocean as the continental shelf is only 7nm from the coast. Spend a minimum of two weeks learning our research methods, while you spend your days on the research boat observing dolphins & whales while recording information. Make a difference to cetacean conservation while enjoying amazing encounters only possible along the coast of our oceanic paradise.
