About Program

Our Oceans Research Internship is based in Mossel Bay, South Africa. Interns participate in projects involving great white sharks; ragged tooth; smooth hound; other benthic shark species; Cape fur seals and dolphins (bottlenose & humpback). We conduct the majority of our work in-situ but we also research captive sharks in our own aquarium and perform posthumous work on donated shark specimens.
