About Program

Here is a chance for final year medical, nursing or other medical subject students to participate in a placement in Zimbabwe. This program is designed to give you a hands-on experience where you are learning from the get-go, putting your knowledge into practice and learning brand new skills. Student works alongside professionals in both public and private medical facilities, to give a holistic experience of the Zimbabwe health system. You'll have the chance to learn about tropical medicine, as well as almost any other field of medicine that interests you. Boost your CV and complete your academic credits while having a unique adventure off the beaten track!

This placement is only available to final year medicine-related students who need to complete a placement as part of their course.

Interns stay in shared houses. We have one in a suburb of Harare and one near the rural hospital - where you will stay depends on where you work.
