What is your favorite travel memory?

Students from The English Teacher Training College of Austria

I have many good memories, so it is hard to pick one. Driving over a mountain in Austria near Gmunden and seeing the sun come up over a lake was incredible.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

The Teacher Training College is a growing company and likes to get feedback in order to improve. Weekly meetings online with other course tutors from each of our campus's to discuss areas for improvement and what we like, keeps us all fresh and up to date. We also feel like we more involved in the program.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

There are lots of stories, typically about having fun in the evening together, like a bake off competition, or schools they particularly liked.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

I would take part in the Cert TESOL program as it is heavily subsidized as we are a non-profit company, with accommodation and a small food package included. There are more teaching practice hours and observed practice hours than many other Cert TESOL courses and students get to see a lot of Austria as we switch locations and visit different schools.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

We have weekly meetings to give feedback on our week. You are given a say even when you are new and regardless of position. We went on a day out to Gmunden for a team building afternoon as the company cares about how the team gets on.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

We are work really hard, but we have fun and the team gets you through. Management are approachable and are willing to listen to criticism and they make appropriate changes.
