I have loved my visit to Queenstown to do a 10k run and hike around, as well as travel over to Sydney, Australia during my time here! I still have a few months left in New Zealand, so I'm looking to travel the country even more, but so far in addition to the places listed above, I've made it to Auckland, Rotorua, Napier, the outskirts of Wellington.

What is your favorite travel memory?
How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?
I really enjoyed the New Zealand work culture this company has. Since this is a small company, I was really able to get to know all of the employees here, which was so much fun! I have also learned a lot in regards to people engagement, communicating with clients, event planning, and social media marketing.
What is the best story you've heard from a return student?
A lot of people post or mention to us that they feel like they learn a lot about themselves while they are abroad. They enjoy the fact that they get to travel as well as boost their resume. Many friendships have been made for the interns that come through here, and so many interns are simply grateful for this learning experience they received.
If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?
I would have chosen the Silver package that we offer for New Zealand. This way my housing would be sorted before I even arrive to the country. Coming here I didn't have a huge preference between cities in New Zealand, but since the company is based in Wellington, I ended up here, which I'm so happy about!
So, knowing the area, I'd choose Wellington as my top location, and with my major in school being Sport Management, I'd want something in that field.
What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?
As previously stated, our company is quite small, which with the tasks we are presented with, is something that makes us unique as well as is something I'm proud of. Between the current team of 7 people, we're able to chat with potential applicants, place accepted applicants in their field for an internship, plan events for them, and attempt to keep them happy and informed of what all is going on throughout their time in NZ and OZ. Very proud of everyone here for constantly being able to do all of this!
What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?
I believe that one of the biggest factors in being a successful business is working together and constantly communicating with each other. Everyone in a business knows bits and pieces of information, so making sure that everyone knows what is going on is very important to keep things running smoothly and successfully.
