Laura: I work on educating students and recent graduates on Chinese business culture and market CRCC Asia's programs in China to the European market. I work with teams in the UK, Italy, Germany and Spain to encourage Europe-China relations. I very much enjoy inspiring the next generation of global graduates.
Have you ever interned or worked about? What was the most rewarding part of your experience?
Laura: I have previously interned in Beijing at a company called Kabam, who produce online games for social media websites. The experience was challenging but thoroughly enjoyable.
How do you see the international internship market changing over the next 5 years?
Laura: I think the international internship market will begin to shape student's education in the UK, and will be soon be an integral part of all degree programs.
What's the most memorable story/experience you've heard from a past intern?
Laura: One of our interns attended the China 2.0 conference in 2010 (Beijing). They were able to speak and network with business leaders from all over the world. They successfully got a job offer from a company in Beijing and are still working there now.
What is one piece of advice you would offer someone considering interning in China?
Laura: Make the most out of your experience, be open to everything new, the people, the culture, the food, the city!
