Want to study Korean in Seoul at a CSN-accredited school? Here at LTL, beginner to advanced students, of all age groups and nationalities are welcome.

All of our group and 1-on-1 classes are taught by our fully certified native Korean teachers and are designed to help you make fast and steady progress.

We keep our group classes small with no more than 6 students per class to make sure you get plenty of attention from the teachers and time to ask questions. Lessons are specifically designed to cover all aspects of the language. Listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Couple this with a homestay experience and you'll be amazed at just how quickly your Korean improves. Living with a Korean host family is the key to success and what our brand stands for.

My experience in Seoul learning Korean

My experience at LTL Seoul was fantastic! My teacher was incredibly understanding, always going the extra mile to teach me what I specifically asked for, in addition to the material from the LTL-provided textbook. The location in Hongdae is perfect—such a vibrant area, full of cafes and even nightlife! There’s also a cool terrace where I could study after class. Manuel and Esther were always checking in to make sure I had everything I needed. They also organized fun lunches and dinners with other students, which made the experience even more enjoyable!
My homestay family was so lovely and supportive, helping me with my Korean and creating unforgettable memories together. I can say that a Korean family now.

Cultural Immersion

The best things about studying with LTL Korea is:

1- They are serious and take your safety and that of minors very seriously.
2- their homestay families are amazing - we get to eat local every day, get to watch TV with them and communicate in Korea all day every day - what more can one ask when learning a new language?
3- Their teachers are fantastic - they are fun and adaptable - I had a lot of needs and they were all met!

I'll come back most definitely - loved the events in the evenings too and the staff - Keep working hard you guys - YOU ROCK!

LTL SEOUL for a top of the notch Korean learing course.

Located in the vibrant Hongdae district, LTL impressed me from the very beginning with its exceptional service. Their prompt, personalized responses to my emails, online phone calls, and chats addressed all of my questions and concerns before I even enrolled. This attentiveness was one of the main reasons I chose to join. The second reason was the location. Easily accessible by metro or bus, LTL is surrounded by a wide variety of affordable, delicious restaurants, all nestled in the lively and beautiful Hongdae area—making the location itself a significant draw.

During the month I studied there, I participated in an intensive 4-hour-per-day course with outstanding teachers. These instructors not only guided me through my learning process, addressing any difficulties and doubts I had, but they also fostered a supportive atmosphere where I quickly gained confidence and improved my language skills. I left LTL with a strong sense of accomplishment and progress, thanks to the dedicated efforts of the teachers. Moreover, they provided a solid learning foundation that has made it easier for me to continue building my knowledge independently.

One important point to mention is that I have very strict dietary requirements. The staff at LTL went above and beyond to help me navigate these challenges when dining out, even assisting me in selecting appropriate menu items. This level of care exceeded my expectations, and I am deeply grateful for their support.

Additionally, both the teachers and administrative staff went out of their way to help me explore the city, find and enjoy fun activities, and make the most of my time in South Korea.

In summary, I highly recommend LTL not only for learning Korean but also as a place to meet great friends and enjoy your time in Seoul.

Nice Teachers & Ppl at LTL Seoul

Really nice people at the school and fun activities! The ppl here are always super kind to help if i have any question! Love the Korean barbecue night the school arranged! The teachers here are very thoughtful and the classes are fun. Even if I only stay here for a week but I feel like I learned quite a lot from both of my teachers, Eunjin and Seonyong! Manuel and Esther here are super friendly. Will definitely come back again and suggest to my friends if they consider coming to Seoul to learn Korean!

Experience

The summer camp was amazing! Activities were so fun I made a lot of friends here, classes were great too the teachers explain everything amazing in an understanding and interactive way, they explained grammar and gave homework that helped memorized the vocabulary reviewed in class. After the school we went to different restaurant with tradicional Korean food, and we even got to emblematic places and museums to know more about Korean history, also went to funn places such as Nami island, zoo, and amusement park. I truly regiment the one month experience!

2 WEEK HOMESTAY IN SEOUL

I recently spent 2 weeks in Korea doing a homestay with my host mum and teacher, Hyeyeon Lee.
I can honestly say without a doubt that this was the best and most rewarding 2 weeks I have had in my 21 years of life so far.

My host family all went above and beyond in the short time I had in to ensure that I not only experienced parts of popular life in Korea, but also traditional aspects and food of which I would usually have had very little chance of being involved in otherwise. While the freedom I had allowed me to pursue my personal itinerary around the refreshing flexibility of classes.
The extensive knowledge that the members of my family had left me constantly fascinated and the true care they showed for me was a privilege more than I could have hoped for before embarking on this adventure.
This all allowed me to gain a much deeper appreciation for the culture and people of Korea than had I simply visited alone or for a holiday.

Hyeyeon's commitment to teaching truly shows through as she plans the lessons to cater to my interests and desired learning outcomes, and her teaching style was unmatched to any teachers I have studied with before. Without exaggeration, concepts I have spent a great deal of time mulling over during my study of the Korean language could be explained by her and understood by me sometimes in a matter of minutes during class, while the benefits of living with such a passionate teacher cannot be overstated.
Not only do I feel as though I learnt more in the past 2 weeks than I have in the past year, but Hyeyeon has inspired in me a desire to properly continue my studies of Korean language and culture, which is not an easy feat as previous to this trip I consider myself someone that had very little interest of attending university, whereas after studying with her I am confident I will be pursing further studies in the near future.

I am exceptionally grateful to LTL that I was able to do this trip. Both Margot and Manuel answered my every question, no matter how small, whenever needed which was a great support that I was thankful for.

I would recommend studying with LTL without reservation. Particularly to anyone looking to truly experience a language and culture, and as the slogan suggests, to anyone that wants to "LIVE THE LANGAUGE" and not simply study it within the confines of forced memorisation or the rigid environment of a traditional classroom.

I'm so glad I was placed with such a great family and teacher; I can't wait to take what I learnt during this time out into the world with me!

Pros
  • Learn about culture from the inside
  • Try unusual cuisine
  • Develop foreign language skills much faster
Cons
  • The only con was that I wish I had stayed longer!
