Angie was such a great and fun teacher. Our class was rather small so she made an effort to make sure we were learning what we wanted in order to get the most out of the course. She brought a positive attitude to teaching that made it fun and made me excited to come to class every day. I like that the class was very interactive and that encouraged us to speak often (which is really how you learn). We had lessons covering grammar, vocabulary, and culture plus she always shared slides with us so that we could review and study more. I really feel like my level improved during the class.

Angie is an amazing teacher. The classes were a mixture of grammar, vocabulary, and conversation practice using various methods such as videos, articles, stories, etc. She tailors the lesson to fit the students' levels and is receptive to any topics the student is interested in learning. In addition, the classes are quite intimate so you get more personal attention. My Spanish level improved substantially during the time I took the course. I also loved how she taught common expressions used in Spain. I used a lot of them and my Spanish friends were always very impressed!

It's now two years since Angie is teaching me Spanish and I made lot of progress. We are used to have one to one lessons and even now during Covid we have managed to continue the program by video. She has a flexible approach alternating grammar and conversation and the lessons are very funny. She is very committed, professional and she prepare the lesson in advance bringing new documents, texts and videos. Angie often introduce new arguments to help me understand the Spanish culture. I highly recommend her as a Spanish teacher.

I had the pleasure of participating in Canterbury’s Spanish Adventures and TEFL programs. Through the Spanish Adventures program, I was able to take weekly Spanish classes with their amazing Spanish teacher, Angie. I looked forward to each of our classes as she personalized the content to make sure I was learning the language skills I needed while living in Madrid. I could not have asked for a better experience and I recommend Canterbury and Angie to anyone looking to teach English and/or study Spanish in Madrid.

Angie is an excellent teacher fully dedicated to his students. Starting learning spanish from scratch, I made huge progress with his methods, patience, and kindness.

During Covid we had to switch from face-to-face classes to virtual and Angie has adapted his method to make it even more effective.
I have often changes in my agenda and travelling abroad but classes have always been hold and rarely when I had to cancel, we have always been able to find new timeslots.
