What is your favorite travel memory?
Last summer I went to Kimolos with my girlfriend, a charming small island in the Cyclades. The narrow streets of the town, the crystal-blue sea, and the calm atmosphere created a truly unique holiday setting. It was unforgettable, combining relaxation, authentic Greek culture, and special shared memories.
How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?
In terms of teaching, every day I grow more skilled at understanding the unique needs and learning styles of my students. Personally, meeting new people every week has sharpened my social abilities, strengthened my communication skills, and made me more confident in speaking in public and connecting with others.
What is the best story you've heard from a return student?
It is always fascinating to see students who start from a beginner level and reach the point where they can speak and communicate fluently. The best story was when a student, after a long time, visited his grandparents in Greece; they were deeply moved because he spoke like a native Greek, whereas before he only knew a few basic expressions.
If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?
All of the programs my company offers are exciting and carefully designed to ensure the proper learning of both the language and the culture. The one I value the most is the activity where, every day, we step outside classroom setting with the students—playing games, watching movies, and exploring different aspects of Greek culture.
What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?
What makes our company unique is the sense of freedom provided by the administration, allowing each teacher to bring their own personality into the lesson and shape it in their own way. I am truly proud and grateful for the team I have—not only are they wonderful characters, but also excellent teachers, each with a personal trait that makes their lessons unique.
What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?
A successful business is built on the people behind it. I believe that good character is the foundation of any workplace. Beyond that, qualities such as willingness, honesty, and being trustworthy are essential values that both employees and employers must share in order for a business to truly grow and succeed.
