Had an amazing two months in Barcelona and with lingua schools. The schools location was amazing. You were so close to the busy centre. The classes were fun and I learned so much! It really helps that the teacher just teaches the classes fully in Spanish and you really are forced to pick up quickly. Classes weren’t until late either so I could still go out and explore and have fun with friends I made. I made so many friends from all over the world! Also the school organises activities every week which is super fun!

I opted for individual lessons and I thank my teacher (Anna Maria) very much. She was totally committed, dynamic and knowledgable.

Thank you also very much to the very very efficient and friendly reception team. This stay was a treat! My accommodation was very close to lingua school (15 minutes on foot) my lessons were in the morning which allowed me to visit in the afternoon and then the next day to report on my activities.

My lessons were totally adapted to my needs and not the other way around. It was I who asked what I wanted to deepen. The answers were always precise and practical. Thanks again. I warmly recommend this school.

Ce séjour était un régal! Mon hébergement était très proche de lingua school (15 minutes à pied) mes cours étaient le matin ce qui me permettaient de visiter l'après midi et ensuite le lendemain de faire un compte rendu de mes activités.
Mes cours étaient totalement adaptés à mes besoins et non l'inverse. c'est moi qui demandait ce que je voulais approfondir. Les réponses étaient toujours précises et pratiques. Merci encore. je recommande chaleureusement cette école.

I’ve been at linguaschools since September 8 months now, the teachers are so good and super helpful. It’s a really good feeling going up through the levels of Spanish through the school. They have exams at the end of each level which helps show how much you’re improving. Also they have activities all throughout the week to take part in which is really cool and thoughtful of the school. The class sizes are also great as you can work together but also hear one on one advice from the teacher. Really recommend!!

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?

I would probably change the amount of hours i did as I started off for 3 months with 2 hours a day. Now I’m doing 4 hours a day the improvements show so much faster.

I really liked the lessons. Our teacher was so nice and only spoke Spanish to us, and a bit English now and then, which was a bit difficult in the first 2 weeks, but it also makes you learn the language so much faster. We also did a lot of games which was a fun way of learning. The only thing I didn't really like was that in the week after our exam we did another week of repeating, which was great for the other students, but we wanted to learn a bit more that week, but overall I really liked this school.

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?

call them or or send an email with all the information you need and which lessons suits you best.

No doubt to take the courses from LinguaSchools, cause they have the most creative and motivated teachers you are going to have lessons with.
And of course as a foreigner you would love to have quality time with people around you and the activities that arranged and well planned for you. So which will give you the chance to keep so many good memories and experiences during your education with LinguaSchools and living in Barcelona.
P.S. As a student that had the first half term of 3 months in Madrid, one of my concern about Barcelona was that the city is a Catalan speaking city. So depends on my experiences I would say that generally speaking Catalan in Barcelona is not a big deal while you are learning Spanish with Spanish Speaker Teachers and there are many ways to practise your Spanish by participating to events like "LanguageExchange" that happens in the city. Also public people are very understandable and able to talk to you in Spanish once they understood that you are a foreigner.
