I finished this experience at the weekend and am happy to write a review in support of the TEFL course. I have found the course to be interesting and useful for me to understand how to teach English to children. The unit on planning and motivation and assessing are for me the best ones as I can learn how to really make interesting lessons with purposes.

About the cost, it is very cheap but there are many cheap courses now, so I don't think it is 'too' cheap, but just right for me. The staff, I have not needed to worry them with emails, but the feedback on the website course is very good.

This is actually my second time doing a TEFL. The first one was 100 hours (won’t name names) and poor quality. I lost my PDF, but aim told it might not even have counted anyway as most places ask for 120 hours. Well whatever the case is, this course was immense in comparison to that one, on every point aside from that one had job support that forced them to give you up to date job links. This one does some of the same job stuff but there isn’t really a daily job update or anything. Everything else wipes the floor with the textbook type course I did. I assume tech prices for coding now are so much cheaper as is video production etc. either way, I’m impressed by what you get here.

It's a course that is excellent in almost every way. I started it last year and have seen it get better in terms of visuals, videos, and written content. I have messaged the tutor, and they have always responded quickly. The structure of the 120-hour course makes a lot of sense, and I enjoy studying it.

However, I have one major issue: some of the videos are not available in Indonesia when I am traveling there because Vimeo's private video system is blocked there (and possibly in China too). They suggested using a free VPN to access them. After leaving Indonesia, everything works perfectly, but this was a little irritating.

For starters, I didn't think I'd get much for something online that cost pretty much a couple of hours work - no offence ST! I figured I'd be going in, yawning my way through, then coming out with a bit of paper and a better understanding of how to make a simple sentence. Actually, I thought the course was excellent. Like, properly solid and definitely worth spending time reading through everything a couple of times to better understand it. The scenario tasks or whatever their name is for them were great and paired with the classroom videos make this course really strong. Keep up the top work!

Firstly, I can't see how anyone wouldn't rave about this course considering its price and general vibe. It is excellent. Some things I'd rate as very good and others at even better. When I first saw the inside of the course I was pretty blown away as there's just an upmarket vibe about it. When you click through the content and everything opens smoothly and has a nice pastel look there's something zen going on. It's classy and not at all what you'd think of a 30 pound course.

Secondly, it isn't just a course that makes you read long dissertations of text. I found it really easy to skim then zoom into parts where I wanted more detail, then when I felt like being challenged a bit, I'd read the practice questions and go back and either think of the answer of hunt on the page. The set-up worked well for my style of learning. I didn't make use of the video lectures. Every practice activity has more than ample feedback to read through, which actually meant my only ever question to support staff was related to getting an apostille.

On that note, the website had enough information on it to cover any question i had except for which certificate should be used for sending to be apostilled. This is an excellent training course and the fact that I feel less anxioous about teaching after doing the course says alot about its quality. My advice: take it.
