The certificates are lovely and have been accepted on the online platforms I've uploaded them on. The market seems to be a little full of teachers right now, but I'm told there is always work online. About the course, it was a bit more upmarket than what I'd expected - not that I thought it'd be naff, but more just barebones or something. I was glad to see colour and videos and parts I could click to expand. The testing is consistent across the course rather than just a final exam or assignment, which I liked to help me get a feel of whether I'd actually understood everything. Staff were kind the time that I had a question, but it really wasn't necessary to ask about the content.

When you're a bit older, technology and apps and anything tech related can be very daunting. I was a bit worried about an online course presenting issues for me in this regard, but most of it was straightforward and intuitive. Dom and the team helped me through the parts that weren't so obvious, such as their secret word system for bonus point practice activities.

The course is meticulous and very well presented. There's information about many topics, so I had to concentrate on the ideas I thought would most benefit my needs, for online teaching business. Really, they've made a very good course and despite it being automated, there is a surprising amount of useful feedback given during each activity.

One point I'd like to raise is that it seems like they could offer students a meeting forum to discuss jobs and how to set up an online teaching business, but perhaps this is in the pipeline for a later time. Most things about the course are reliable and suitable as they are.

I have studied for 10 weeks and I am able to resit many unit quiz to learn again. The text lesson is clever and make by expert in teaching because I know everything is clear in explain to me different idea. Every lesson is same but different. Lesson all have nice video and text and activity to learn more and more. When I finish everything I am able to email my degree in just one hour which I think is very good. I need this for hagwon to make my manager happy so for price it is very good. It is modern but can have more game opportunity for kinder learning online.

I always struggle with the 'out of 5' system - anything under 5 seems somewhat punitive, yet 5 can seem a little misleading. I'd much rather have a system out of 20. StudyTEFL would score 19/20 in a world not obsessed by the limiting ideal of 5 star systems. It has clear value because everything they have made available to us is purposeful and targeted at teaching how to be a quality teacher and what to do in X situation. Their certificate can be easily notarized and apostilled using their partner solicitor (I made the mistake of emailing a different one who wasn't sure, but the one they partner with got it done quickly for me and mailed over). Moreover, there's a host of resources and assessment types that they use to keep you engaged. This was paramount for me because I get bored easily and become intolerant of plain old text - there's no need for that kind of learning in 2026. Videos were a mix of talking head lecturer (almost all human voice aside from their unit on AI, which I'm fairly sure they put in there to be clever, though they needn't have bothered) and explainers of concepts from YouTube, but then the most useful of them were those of English teaching taking place in classes. I'm sure this is standard practice, but it's effective having these recordings to pair with the text and the imagination they create in their scenarios. It's synergistic. Now over to the keeping it real part - this isn't a perfect course (the 120-hour TEFL). It maybe tries to fit in too much. I felt the unit on culture could be sliced up and spread around other units, for example. The AI unit was fine but I'm not sure how necessary it was. Can't fault the response time of staff during 'on hours', but on 'off hours', I had to wait 5 hours. This is perhaps when a bot would be better? All in all, this represents incredible value for money, but there are a few tweaks you could make to get this on a solid 5 stars rather than a high 4 point something

This was a great experience once in and registered, but I spent 10-15 mins emailing back and forward with their team trying to work out why their system didn't want my money. Anyway, eventually got my payment through when the system was satisfied my address was inputted 100% right, a pain in the something I don't wanna type here being public. Anyways, was worth it after that as smooth sailing or whatever the educational equivalent is! Not an easy course but I guess that's the whole point of it. Certs work online so job's a goodun

The program and the staff work well to enrich the learning experience of students such as myself. Online learning is never the same as studying in a group environment, but for an internet LMS medium, this was excellent. I hadn't expected to find a course so professional for the amount I paid but if you shop around and look at free lessons then revisit various learning centres, it's possible to find a bargain. I enjoyed many elements of the 120 hours TEFL course and will now consider their 48 hours extra course to make my cv modestly more attractive. Thank you studyTEFL

Excellent tutor support - they answer questions quickly. When I want answers before paying they got back to me quick. When I needed answers about one of the questions I got wrong they explained it. Everything was good which for the price is very surprising. I learned on the new lms they have and it was a really nice process. No idea about their old system. Videos stream privately but there are some youtube ones too. Videos have a male tutor - real voice not ai. That was better than I thought. Assessments are many but they work well. This is cheap but a very good buy if you want tefl.

The positive qualities first. The lessons are rich and tell us many things about what to teach. The lessons then tell us how to teach. This is always the most interesting for me. The lessons also explain why we might teach using a special technique. There is also much feedback about these ideas when you complete the lesson flows. I am amazed at the number of questions they ask about different problems and give feedback on each. The teaching videos are excellent. Everything is clear with the language they use also. This is good for second language speakers like I am. Also good was subtitles on their narration videos and it is a man speaking (I read when I started that it would be AI, but they have changed).

Not many bad things. I want to access new jobs on a living page but they have recruiter jobs. I would like to have a live lesson. Also I would like to have a place to talk with other teachers to share ideas. The good win, of course, but there are ways the company can still improve.
