AMAZING PROGRAM!!

I loved this program; it was easy and fun. Everything is explained in videos, and they have a lot of good examples of activities and lesson plans. They also reach out and let you know they are always there to help if you need it. There is also a Message board where you have to post your lesson plans, but you also get to see everyone else's posts. Which I find very helpful because then I can compare my work and see if I'm going in the right direction or if I am missing anything. I recommended TEFL Pro to everyone back home in California. I would go through this program again :) 10/10

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
Definitely look into where you can travel, and sometimes you don't have to stay there; you can move around. It just depends on how you want to work, like if you want to teach students one-on-one or go through a program like English Focus. Don't feel limited; there are always options.

What can I say this course was great. A TEFL course can be nerve racking especially without any previous teaching experience but in the end this was a fantastic experience. The material was clearly presented and if I ever had a question there were great staff on hand to help. The course was also fun and made me realise that teaching is about engaging with students as much as it is setting homework. By the end of the course I felt fully ready to dive into the world of teaching. No regret, I couldn't rexommend this TEFL course more.

What was the most unfamiliar thing you ate?

I really enjoyed my experience with TEFLPros.

The course was well-structured and the real classroom videos helped me feel more confident about teaching.

TEFLPros was a great experience! At times the workload was a bit dense, but it was absolutely worth it. I had the chance to visit a country I never imagined I’d see, while learning from very knowledgeable teachers. The course offered thorough lessons, engaging classwork, and plenty of useful materials. Overall, it was both challenging and rewarding, and now I’m excited to see where my TEFL certification will take me next! Go sign up today!

Good Program

I took this course not knowing what to expect since it is self-paced and online. Whitney narrated the lessons and she did an amazing job. Especially with the lesson plan examples, I got some great ideas from her. Being that I am a hands on learner, it was a little difficult for me to stay focused since the classes were lecture based. I did learn a lot and I think that this program is perfect for beginners and those just starting their career as a teacher. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who would like to begin teaching English.

What would you improve about this program?
I would definitely acknowledge that someone has seen the accountability posts. I have no idea if they were seen or not. If no one is checking and keeping me accountable, why am I doing it?

What is your favorite travel memory?

I am a mother of two so local travel is more feasible. My family loves to get out in nature every chance we can get. Being located in Asheville means that the mountains are right at our doorstep. We love to watch the seasons change, go for hikes and watch my son play ball. That time together is priceless.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

Over the past several years I have seen myself grow into my role. I have consistently taken on more responsibilities in the areas of finances and management and have greatly improved my time management skills. I have particularly enjoyed taking specialty courses in my field. I pride myself in being a lifelong learner.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

We have had a lot of participants recently whose goal is to help refugees learn English. We've had European grads move to Greece to work in camps and we have also had Americans who are setting up local programs in their own communities. Watching people redirect their plans to help those in need is such a blessing.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

This level of impact is something that I haven't experienced with other businesses that I have worked in. Every day is different and every participant's goal is unique.

Every great company that I have worked with has had good communication running throughout its management and operations. TEFLPros is no different.
