Unfortunately that experience probably would not be sufficient. They are looking for full classroom experience with a relevant grade level. However you're still welcome to apply so we can fully assess your experience & qualifications. IE; if have a degree in education with student teaching, that could work.

Hello Victoria - by certified, do you mean a teaching license? If so, the answer is yes. If you have at least 2+ years experience it's possible to teach ESL specifically. It will probably need to be at a public school.

It depends on which country you're interested in. UAE typically requires a 4-year degree in the subject you teach. While you can qualify for some countries with either 2 years classroom experience or a TEFL/TESOL certification.
