Amazing service!

Gone2Korea was so phenomenal throughout my experience. From just looking to flying to Seoul, Gone2Korea was there each step of the way for me. They were patient, helpful, and encouraging. Moving to South Korea can be very intimidating, but Gone2Korea helped make the process seamless. I would recommend their service to anyone who wants to teach in South Korea. They are the total package, from interview assistance to documentation prep, even with the added layer of Covid-19. There are not enough words for me to express my gratitude to them. As far as location goes, Korea has been so amazing thus far. Great food, amazing cities, and everyone that I have met have been so kind and helpful.

11/10 would recommend

Gone2Korea has honestly been my saving grace for kickstarting my dream job. They organize and lay out everything so that the process is easy and help you find a school that fits your desires pretty well. Before using their service, I couldn’t find a recruiter agency that seemed like it would be the right fit. At every chance, turn, and obstacle, they were helpful to the end with quick responses and plenty of answers for every question I had. I would 100% recommend Gone2Korea to anyone who wants to teach in Korea.

Definitely worthy of the good reviews

I'm a first-time teacher and I was very nervous about applying for positions with hagwons, as I'd heard so many horror stories online. After applying to about 5-6 different recruiting programs, Gone2Korea replied to me within the same day of my application. It was comforting to know that they only place you in schools that they are long-term collaborators with, not just sticking you in a random opening at a random school.

Within the week I already had an interview set up with a school director, and it went great! The staff/recruiters help you through every step of the process with detailed information, all the way into your first day at work. It brought me a lot of peace-of-mind.

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?
Apply with Gone2Korea much sooner than I did. They're an excellent service.

Gone2Korea is the way to go

Gone2Korea did an excellent job finding me the exact kind of place I was looking to go. They were very personal in assisting me with any and every problem or question I had. I was able to start traveling in no time thanks to their clear and timely guidance over the whole process! Couldn't have imagined a better recruiter that met every single one of my needs. Thanks to them I get to work in the beautiful city of Seoul alongside others who share the same passion!! Choose Gone2Korea and they will do their best to accommodate anything you ask of them for you, even after you arrive!

Choose Gone2Korea!

Really pleased with my Gone2Korea experience!
I contacted numerous recruiters at the start of my job search, and the only one who stood out from the crowd was Gone2Korea. A supportive and friendly tone from the start, and they made themselves available for any and all questions that I had. All of the instructions emails for each stage of the application process were laid out clearly, and were written informatively and reassuringly. The information was really useful!
My stay in South Korea has gone smoothly so far (my job is in Mok-dong), and I recommend anyone taking the leap and living/working abroad.

Best moving abroad experience

I’m so glad I chose Gone2Korea as a recruiter! Kirk made the application process so much easier as I was afraid of not being able to correctly complete everything! He was so kind, understanding, and always got back to me quickly regarding any concerns or questions I had. They made me feel like I truly wasn’t alone in this big transition. If anyone is looking to come to Korea to teach I highly would recommend applying through Gone2Korea because the guidance makes this move so much smoother. Thank you!

Great company, awesome service

Totally satisfied with my decision to use Gone2Korea. I arrived in Korea last week and my school, apartment and location are spot on. When I started applying with recruiters way back in November I wasn't sure which one I was going to use but Gone2Korea quickly came out as the front runner. My coordinator always got back to me within a few hours and was candid, even blunt at times, about the realities of working in Korea. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Great company, awesome service, nuff said!

Great service and excellent support.

Gone2Korea was indispensable in my quest to find a job and move to South Korea. As someone who knew next to nothing about the process of teaching English overseas, my Gone2Korea agent helped me with every task throughout the journey. It's difficult to express how appreciative I am of Gone2Korea’s efforts in helping me navigate the obstacles that arose in the complicated process of obtaining a work visa. My stay in South Korea turned out to be even better than I initially expected. You'll likely find many stories on reddit of contracts being broken or not fulfilled by the Korean employer. I've had none of these issues with my placement at a private school in Seoul, and I think I owe that to Gone2Korea. All of my questions I had about the job contract, visa, the move abroad and living in Korea as a foreigner were thoroughly answered by my contact. I strongly encourage anyone who's interested in teaching English in Korea to work with the Gone2Korea site, as I've had an unforgettable experience with them from start to finish.

Loved it!

I've never used a recruiting service before so I was somewhat skeptical at first, partly because I had no idea what to expect but mostly because I read a number of distressing stories about recruiters on reddit. That being said, my experience with Gone2Korea was nothing short of excellent. They placed me at a fantastic school and made the visa application process really easy, something I was initially worried about.

My point of contact at Gone2Korea was Hosoon, she was totally amazing and I can't recommend her enough. She always responded to my messages within a few hours and called regularly to check-in. Looking back, she really did it all! She presented me with different job offers, prepped me for the interviews, guided me through the visa steps, arranged my airfare and lots more. I was impressed!

The school I'm working at is called SLP and it's located in the Mapo district. It's exactly what I wanted, a job in central Seoul! The school is quite modern and I work with a bunch of other foreign teachers who are all amazing. We also live in the same apartment building which is super fun.

If you're thinking about coming to Korea then I recommend going through Gone2Korea. I'll definitely be referring my friends to them in the future. Thanx!
