I decided to join the TravelGrad experience in 2018 and although I was apprehensive at first, it turned out to be one of the best experiences of my life. I got to experience places and meet people from all over the world. I Chose the China option and through that was able to travel around most of south east Asia.The coordinators are helpful from the start and made the process seamless and were always on hand and happy to help if I had and questions or issues I would highly recommend this experience.

Thanks to Travel Grad, I had one of the most significant, life enhancing experiences teaching English in China & travelling around South East Asia. Couldn't recommend recommend this company more, for its consistent support, personability, proactivity & of course affordable prices. Travel Grad provides a once in a lifetime opportunity to lead a new life, full new experiences & adventures! During my experience I made new friends for life from all corners of the world, & learned about Chinese culture. Spending the year in South East Asia, gave me the tools to figure out my Real passion in life & how to go about fulfilling it.

Absolutely the most fun year ever!

I had spent some time in various parts of Asia before and I knew I wanted to explore even more but instead of backpacking I knew I wanted to use the year to earn some qualifications, set up a base and actually create a life overseas.
Travelgrad helped me achieve these goals. I was able to travel all over China, create a fab lifestyle in Beijing and explore further afield in Malaysia and the Philippines, Taiwan and Mongolia. I even earned my Advanced Scuba qualifications in the Philippines! With Travelgrad it meant I could be based in a Beijing and balance the excitement of being abroad with the comfort of having a home and a group of ready made friends!

Living in Beijing was WILD in the best possible way - the group I was placed with were so fun, really supportive and we’re all still close even though we live across continents. Andrew and the team made the complicated visa process as straightforward as possible and it was great catching up with him in Beijing later on in the placement.
I’m not sure I would have made it to China without his support!

My year in China was absolutely brilliant and I can’t recommend it enough. The little paragraph on my CV describing my time in Beijing hardly does it justice but it’s always a big discussion point in interviews!

Best thing I ever did - it’s a proper adventure that will challenge you at some points but I would 10000% do it all over again.

TravelGrad makes working overseas super easy and fun. From the word go the amount of support provided is amazing, especially from Andrew who helped make the whole process of moving to Thailand smooth and relaxed. There’s been continued support throughout my placement in Thailand, TravelGrad are always so willing to help where they can. Travelgrad work tirelessly around the clock to make sure you feel safe, supported and comfortable. The team alleviates all stress allowing you to sit back and enjoy the travelling experience. They provide information as well as opportunities to continue your travels around the globe. When you are with travel grad you feel as if you have been adopted into a new family, where you meet all the like minded outgoing people you have been searching for. I was with travel grad in 2019, they were extremely supportive and helped me through the whole process. They were very transparent and clear on what to expect, but it went beyond my expectations. I was in China and lived just outside shanghai, I travelled China and loved exploring shanghai. My favourite till this day is Harbin.

They were very supportive in the first weeks and months and would regularly check up on you. I can’t recommend them enough and thank them for their support.

It's a great programme that makes working overseas easy and fun. I had the best time and loved working in Shanghai. It was quick to sign up and Andrew was a lot of help from the moment we met all the way through to being in China for a few years. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to not only teach abroad but also live abroad and explore different cities and countries. If I could I would do it all again and use this programme again as it was super quick and helpful. Thanks so much, awesome teaching experience.

I wanted to move to China to teach after graduating and Travel Grad made the process so smooth and stress free! There is a tonne of paper work needed to get over to China but it never felt stressful or overwhelming because they quite literally held our hands through the whole process; I felt supported every step of the way. Quite early on we were put in contact with other people also moving to China, so before even leaving the U.K. I had met loads of people (I still have close friendships with a lot of them now). I loved my placement in Guangzhou, I didn’t work too many hours, the students were amazing, and I had so much fun. I travelled all over China and South- East Asia and made so many incredible memories.

I cannot recommend TravelGrad enough. They have made the dream of living and teaching out in Thailand a reality. They help with every step of the process, from getting your TEFL qualification, to visa applications and school placements, TravelGrad have been there every step of the way. The support offered from TravelGrad is impeccable and I can’t thank them enough. They were so friendly and welcoming and were super quick and responsive to questions and queries. The continued in-country support is and additional added bonus- they really are there every step of the way and will do everything they can to ensure you have the best experience!

Travel grad have been great at guiding me through the whole process of moving to Thailand. They created loads of helpful documents and kept me updated with everything along the way. Whilst I have been in Thailand they have constantly checked in and made sure I am doing well and everything is ok. I am loving life in Thailand so far and enjoying my province. They have also put me into contact with a number of other teachers working in Thailand who I have made great friends with and will be friends with for life.
