Program Reviews

The program I was a part of was 8 weeks long and took place in London. Being a part of a great and inspiring city shifts your view on life, issues, and career. This experience was transformative, not just professionally but also personally. Being immersed in a multi-cultural environment allowed me to develop a deeper appreciation for diversity and global perspectives. It also taught me invaluable communication and adaptability skills. It gives a glimpse of living in a specific city and it would be a great introduction if anybody is thinking of moving.

Capital Placement made my transition from student to intern a breeze! From hosting webinars, to daily Zoom meetings, they truly prepared me for the internship experience! A highlight would definitely be the social gatherings/meetings they would hold to catch up, bring up concerns, or even just to hang out and let off some steam! They advocated for the enhancement of our future careers, and encouraged networking with different companies and organizations for our own benefit. Thank you Capital Placement!

Finding a good opportunity wasn’t easy but they offered help to find a suitable position for me. Which was one of my best experiences in my life after graduating.
I was a bit lost and nervous before my interview and one of the team calmed me down and guided me to do my best.
I enjoyed going through this internship .. meeting CP team was one of my favourite moments they helped me a lot through my staying.. I got sick and they offered help.. it was easy to reach out to them. Their events were fun and lovely.

I'm grateful to have been selected for this program! It has been amazing to get to know people who came from different backgrounds, to learn new skills, and to get familiar with the UK's work culture.

The best thing that came from this internship for me is the relationships and connections I made. Im going home with lifelong friends and memories that i never thought I could make. As for work, working in a different environment taught me a lot and learning how to manage the many challenging obstacles in a place so far away is beneficial for when the time comes and I face challenges is a familiar environment. The thought “iv gone through tougher challenges” will cross my mind anytime I think something is too difficult to manage.

It was a lovely experience that happens once in a life time, you have yo enjoy the journey and go out and have fun and build a network here so you get the best of it, from what I experienced living alone and become responsible of everything is challenging especially when you are far from your home and family and everything here is so different! It won’t be comfortable getting used to it, but try to get comfortable quicker so you don’t miss the joy.
The pros are more than the cons please focus on that, and be positive all the time!

If you get Mandri helping you find your position, consider yourself lucky!! Captial Placement were very responsible and attentive in finding me a position that best fit my wishes as well as my interests! They really consider you as a person and work with you in finding you an internship that will set you up on an industry you will truly enjoy. Something that you will be thankful in your future career endeavours. One thing for potential candidates to keep in mind is that finding a position and getting a visa, especially to the US, takes time. Trust in Capital Placement, they accepted you in your initial interview for a reason. They know that they can find you something, and are working for you to do so!

Capital placement was incredibly helpful with helping me pursue my career. They went out of their way to help me get exactly the type of internship that I want (which is not a very common career field) and assisted me every step of the way from my interview all the way to being sponsored by the company. They respond to emails very quickly and immediately provide assistance with any questions or problems you might have. The whole process took around 4 months. I had the best experience internship abroad with Capital Placment. From the continuous support they provided before the internship and how they match you with the PERFECT employer (they really good at this!!). Then their warm welcoming in the airport providing great transportation to comfortable hotel with decent breakfast I spent 2 months in London they always around caring, responsible, and kind. My biggest concern was to feel homesick but I never felt that you do not have time to feel that actually :D. They do many engagement activity like going out with group to Winterland and supporting workshops.

Finally, I would love to share that from this internship I got a great opportunity to be partner with my employer to start a startup in my home country in my beloved field!

Very flexible program!

Allows to explore London whilst growing work skills, employer is of very very high quality!

I was able to work remotely and explore many of my hobbies in London, so I was able to meet many different people as well as engage with the program coordinators. I would do it again blindly.

Another great part was the ability to learn from other’s experiences and compare the work culture, giving a wider view to what a successful workplace should look like for me, it’s people as well as the social scene.
