Paris Course

Hi i did the TEFL course in Paris , in January 2014 , when i joined the course i did not realy know what to expect since i was doing an english course in Paris and did not have a lot of acedemic experience . The overall experience was great , our teacher was very experienced in teaching , it was clear that he had handled various different types of situations in the teaching world , and that even though we were all from very different backgrounds he could relate the course to each one of us.

We were 6 students from very different back grounds in education , and we all had very different golas in participating for the course, some of us wanted to travel , others wanted to see if they could be teachers , and some wanted to teach in TEFL schools for small children.

He was able to reach out to each of us , and focus the course according to each ones skills .

The teaching experience that we had to do by the second week of the course realy gies you a feel of being a teacher , while the teacher gives you all the material on how to get organised and do a lesson plan.

At the end of the month we had each done 8 hours of teaching adults and we all felt that yes we can teach englis in TEFL schools .

Sincerly

What would you improve about this program?
Start focusing on Grammar and phonatics a bit earlier , spread it out a bit , so it does not have to be such a concentarted lesson , and could be easier to learn.

January TEFL course in Paris

I warmly recommand this program. It takes place in the very center of Paris, in a cosy place.
The teacher emphazise on both fluency and accuracy and as many as 8 hours of teaching experiences is included. This provides a real and concrete experience of what teaching implies. The feedbacks we get after the teaching exercices are precise and of much help for my furure job as a TEFL teacher in Turkey.
Other students come from different countries and cultural background, creating an inspiring experience in itself.
The phonetic and the grammar lessons are of easy reach and they definitly will be reused for my forecoming teaching job.
All in all, just great !

What would you improve about this program?
More students in the teaching experiences would have been even better to create even more role plays amongst students.
