The course itself was incredibly interesting. the coursework was made into a game for the most part and we had to work in groups. it was a really fun way of applying everything we had learnt and also interacting within our multicultural groups. the overall experience was also great. although the housing was about 30 minutes from the campus it was still quite convenient. The college had arranged a variety of events as well throughout the two weeks of the course however they did fill up quite quick and were tough to get seats in.

Ashoka's liberal arts foundation and its exuberant student body are some of its biggest strengths. Taking courses across disciplines has allowed me to build range and solve problems in new ways. This, combined with the individuals I've met in my time here, has created an environment where there's space to build things and actually see them through.
I spent a semester abroad at Columbia University and was able to make the most of the experience thanks to the foundation I'd built at Ashoka University.

Overall, it was a really positive and enriching experience. The programme was well-structured, engaging, and provided a great opportunity to learn something new. I enjoyed the sessions, interactions, and overall environment, and found the experience both interesting and worthwhile. It was a great way to gain new perspectives, build knowledge, and connect with others. I’m glad I had the opportunity to be part of the programme and would definitely recommend it to others. Truly a memorable experience!

My journey in Singapore has been an incredibly enriching and unforgettable experience—one that has shaped me both personally and academically. From exploring a new culture to stepping outside my comfort zone and gaining experiences that I will carry forward, every moment has been truly special. None of this would have been possible without the constant guidance, encouragement, and support of Ashoka University, which gave me the opportunity to embark on this journey and make memories that I will cherish for years to come.

This summer, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to study at Stanford University through the International Honours Program. What began as an academic experience quickly became a journey of personal growth, global perspectives, and firsthand exposure to the innovation ecosystem of Silicon Valley.

Studying at Stanford University through the International Honours Program (IHP) has been a truly eye-opening experience. One of the most rewarding aspects has been being part of such a diverse cohort, surrounded by students from all over the world. Navigating a new city and engaging with people from different backgrounds and perspectives has broadened my worldview and challenged me to think in new ways.
Through my entrepreneurship classes, I have had the opportunity to gain exposure to industry leaders in Silicon Valley and learn firsthand how they built their startups from the ground up. As an Entrepreneurship minor, this has been an incredibly valuable and inspiring experience, providing insights that go far beyond what can be learned in a classroom.

I have loved studying at Ashoka, and there's truly no place like it in India. The academic side is great-- each of my professors is a treasure trove of knowledge and expertise who I feel so fortunate to be learning from. The fact that I get to design my own academic trajectory is great because I've been able to customize my electives to my own interests while also broadening my horizons overall.

Apart from the academic side of it, Ashoka's campus is beautiful. It's a second home to me. I love the grounds, the library, the mess-- all of it. And of course, the friends I've made here, they'll last a lifetime.

Having studied at Ashoka and Sciences Po, Paris, I am strengthened in my belief that Ashoka has an exceptionally distinguished Faculty, comparable to all global universities, especially in the field of International Relations. The IR courses at Ashoka are rigorous and rewarding, with course material that challenges students and allows them to continuously build up their knowledge, analytical and research skills. Further, the professors are extremely approachable and have very well-structured courses, reflecting perspectives in both contemporary and core IR theories, discussions, etc.

When I joined Ashoka, I was convinced that psychology was the field for me. However, after taking biology courses here, I fell in love with the subject. The passion and enthusiasm with which my professors taught completely changed the way I thought about science and inspired me to switch my major to biology.

What makes Ashoka special is that learning extends far beyond the classroom. Through clubs, events, and interactions with people from diverse backgrounds, I have grown in ways that are not purely academic. There is always something happening on campus—whether it is a club event, a performance, or a discussion. Some of my favorite memories are grabbing a coffee from Fuel Zone and walking around the mess lawns with friends, stumbling upon whatever activity is taking place that day.

Academically, Ashoka encourages curiosity and exploration, and that freedom allowed me to discover a passion I never expected to have. Looking back, my time here has shaped not only my academic interests but also the person I am becoming.

VSP at Ashoka was honestly one of the best things I’ve done so far. I went in not really knowing what to expect, but I came out with so many new skills, friends, and memories that I’ll carry with me forever.

The biggest pro for me was the people. The community at VSP is just different. Everyone is super driven, curious, and open to collaborating. Whether it was during classes, group projects, or just late-night conversations in the common room, I was constantly learning from the people around me. The mentors and faculty were also really approachable. They didn’t just teach from slides — they actually cared about us and pushed us to think deeper and question things.

Academically, VSP gave me exposure I wouldn’t have gotten otherwise. The courses were a good mix of theory and practical work. We weren’t just memorizing stuff for exams. We were working on real projects, doing presentations, and applying what we learned right away. That made everything feel way more relevant. I especially liked how interdisciplinary it was. You could be in a session about policy in the morning and then be discussing design thinking or entrepreneurship in the afternoon. It forces you out of your bubble, which is exactly what I needed.

Another big plus was the networking and exposure. We got to interact with people from different fields, attend talks, and work on projects that had actual impact. It made me realize how many different paths are out there and helped me get clearer on what I want to do next. The campus environment also helped a lot. Ashoka’s campus is beautiful and the vibe is very open.
