Sage Corps is unique in the managing aspect, while I think obtaining an internship abroad, there are serval factors that are not accounted for that Sage Corps handled such as visa, resume building, interview skills, housing, activities to do in the city, and safety while in the country. For this global experience I was able to continue recognizing my passion for traveling and exploring other cultures abroad. Sage Corps was the difference in my stress level between feeling prepared and overwhelmed.

Sage Corps provided an excellent abroad experience. They made sure that you were paired up with a startup internship that best correlated to your skills and wants and kept in touch through the process to make sure you were getting the most you could out of it. Sage Corps also hosted numerous activities for the entire cohort to do, like dinners, walking tours, cooking classes, etc. This allowed you to create and maintain lasting friendships with other people your age in the same cohort! I also did not have work on the weekends, so I recommend traveling every weekend you can!

A standout aspect of my Sage Corps internship experience was the comprehensive safety protocols and insurance that were put in place. These measures became especially valuable when I got into a bicycle accident during the program. The insurance coverage provided through Sage Corps helped cover most of the medical expenses. Furthermore, the program's detailed safety guide offered practical advice and precautions, ensuring that participants were well-prepared for any unexpected situations. This combination of proactive safety measures and robust insurance made the entire internship experience not only rewarding but also secure. It reflected Sage Corps' strong commitment to the well-being of its participants, offering both support and peace of mind in an international environment.

From beginning to end, my time in Amsterdam was amazing! The program did a great job at making sure that myself and everyone else in the program felt welcomed and a part of the city and culture. The city managers were super helpful and nice -- the kind of people you'd love to have drinks with. Any worries I had about moving to a different country and culture were quickly wiped as I started to meet new people, explore the city, and, of course, begin working. My experience working at a Startup was amazing! Not only did I develop my skills and build up my resume, but I also felt like I was truly making an impact at work. This experience still effects me now, and gives my the confidence to know that I can tackle any challenge I face. If you're on the fence, or even thinking about joining the program, this is your sign!

I was one of those students who didn't hear about Sage Corps until fairly late in the application process. The idea of going abroad was exciting, and within a few weeks I committed to join the Dublin cohort for summer 2023. I interned at a tech startup company called GreyScout, and the small staff of 12 people allowed me to make strong connections with everyone in the company. The fast-paced startup environment kept every day interesting- there was always something new to do, and my work had a tangible impact on the success of the company. I made my 20-minute walk to the office each day excited to get to work, and the internship was a great addition to my resume. Outside of the internship, getting to live and travel with a group of other students from different universities was what truly made the experience unforgettable. Hanging out and exploring Dublin after work and taking weekend trips to other cities in Ireland are memories I'll cherish forever!

Working with Sage Corps this past summer was an unforgettable experience! I got to meet amazing and wonderful people and create lifelong memories with them. The Sage Corps team in Lisbon was supportive of everyone and helped a lot with adjusting to working overseas. The internship matching program is also unique, and does an amazing job of matching you with a startup that will support you professionally. My unique internship experience definitely stood out to recruiters, and helped me a lot with my job search. Without my Sage Corps experience, I wouldn't have experienced the career development I needed!

With Sage Corps, you don't just apply then get sent away. The whole Sage Corps team works to help find a start up that is right for you. You are taught the hard and soft skills you will need to work at a start up abroad. Once you arrive program managers and city managers are only a text away no matter what you need. There was not one moment I felt truly alone despite physically traveling alone across an ocean. Even after your program concludes Sage Corp helps you build your resume and connects you with its extensive alumni network. Once you are a part of Sage Corps, Sage Corps cares about you and your future success. That never ends. Because of everything Sage Corps did for me before, during, and after the program, while I was there I was able to feel totally confident everyday at work and after work in a way I never felt before. I was on my own exploring a new city and taking on a new job, but I knew I was capable. This feeling allowed to me experience all my internship and the city of Barcelona had to offer. I cannot imagine a better way to have experienced living and working in Barcelona!

My internship experience in Australia at an ed tech company was nothing short of exceptional. Sage Corps not only places students in dynamic work environments but also ensures that the internships provide valuable and practical learning experiences. The exposure to a start-up culture allowed me to contribute meaningfully to my host company while developing essential skills for my future career.

Lastly, being part of a cohort of students added immense value to my Sage Corps experience. The program creates a supportive community that extends beyond the workplace. The friendships I forged during my time abroad are enduring, and we continue to stay in touch, sharing our post-program journeys and supporting each other's endeavors. The sense of camaraderie fostered by Sage Corps is a testament to the program's commitment to creating a holistic experience for its participants. Highly recommended!

It was my first time ever being in Europe, so was honestly a surreal experience. I really like how the program, although had quite a few events where all of us interns could meet eachother, was not too much and gave me the opportunity to explore the city of Lisbon on my own. Everything else about the internship was amazing from my job too the people I met/connected with through social events. The only reason I gave housing 3 stars was because of Livensa Living, they had some rude staff (even with being such a nice place) that would not be very attentive if you ever had problems. This is not Sage corps fault, but I can see them picking a new place in the future. Everything else about the program was an amazing experience!
