Intern Abroad Madrid

Sage Corps provided an excellent abroad experience. They made sure that you were paired up with a startup internship that best correlated to your skills and wants and kept in touch through the process to make sure you were getting the most you could out of it. Sage Corps also hosted numerous activities for the entire cohort to do, like dinners, walking tours, cooking classes, etc. This allowed you to create and maintain lasting friendships with other people your age in the same cohort! I also did not have work on the weekends, so I recommend traveling every weekend you can!

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
You will never regret traveling abroad, and you get to obtain an internship experience out of it as well. It seems scary at first but once you're there, I promise you will never want to leave. Try all of the food and travel as much as you can!

Sage Corps: Dublin Cohort

I was one of those students who didn't hear about Sage Corps until fairly late in the application process. The idea of going abroad was exciting, and within a few weeks I committed to join the Dublin cohort for summer 2023. I interned at a tech startup company called GreyScout, and the small staff of 12 people allowed me to make strong connections with everyone in the company. The fast-paced startup environment kept every day interesting- there was always something new to do, and my work had a tangible impact on the success of the company. I made my 20-minute walk to the office each day excited to get to work, and the internship was a great addition to my resume. Outside of the internship, getting to live and travel with a group of other students from different universities was what truly made the experience unforgettable. Hanging out and exploring Dublin after work and taking weekend trips to other cities in Ireland are memories I'll cherish forever!

What is your advice to future travelers on this program?
Explore not only the city, but other areas of the country/other countries as well! You'll have a lot of free time on weekends to make the most of your summer.
Pros
  • Startup company experience
  • Spending time abroad
  • Grouped with 20+ other students
Cons
  • Getting a work visa was somewhat of a hassle- get on that ASAP!

Internship with Dublin Startup!

Thanks to Sage Corps, my summer internship experience abroad in Dublin was absolutely incredible! From the moment I decided to embark on this journey until the day I returned home, Sage Corps provided unwavering support every step of the way. What sets Sage Corps apart is that it's not just a matter of applying and being sent off; they truly invest in your success. The entire Sage Corps team diligently worked to match me with a startup that aligned with my interests and skills. Through their comprehensive program, I gained both the technical expertise and the interpersonal skills necessary to thrive in a startup environment overseas.

Whether it was assistance with flights, accommodations, or general travel inquiries, there was always a Sage Corps Representative ready to assist me. Even when I landed in Dublin, the program managers and city managers were just a text away, ensuring that I never felt alone in my adventure, despite being thousands of miles away from home. And even after the internship program concluded, Sage Corps continued to support me, helping me refine my resume and connecting me with their vast alumni network.

Thanks to Sage Corps, I approached each day at my internship with unwavering confidence, knowing that I had the skills and support system to excel. This newfound confidence empowered me to fully immerse myself in both my work and the vibrant city of Dublin. I can honestly say that I couldn't have imagined a more enriching way to experience living and working abroad. Great Experince

It was a wonderful chance to make connections abound and to expand my knowledge outside of what I already have. It was a wonderful way to meet people and get to learn more about a culture that I was not a part of. I also really loved the support that the staff provided from Resume review to teaching modules to help with interviewing well. It was a great process that was made very easy by the supportive staff at Sage Corps. They work really hard to make sure you are prepared for your experience.

Incredible experience _ SageCorps

Sage Corps Remote is a great program for students who want to gain international work and entrepreneur experience without having to leave their homes. The program is well-organized and the staff is supportive and helpful. I was able to find a great internship with a UK based startup company in North Ireland, and I learned a lot about the internal process of business. I would highly recommend Sage Corps to any student who is interested in gaining valuable insights about real business world and get mentored directly from CEO and founders.

Sage Corp: Highly Recommend!

Sage Corp is a unique experience for many reasons. However, what stood out to me was the internships that we worked and the experiences we had. Specifically, being with other college students created a great environment. Whether it was riding the metro to work together or grabbing lunch on our breaks, it was incredibly helpful for all of us to stay focused. All of the internships we had were with startups or environmentally focused brands, which I am incredibly passionate about. The combination of creating friendships and working towards something that I felt mattered were two of the unique aspects of Sage Corp.

Remote Internship - Best "Next Step"

The Sage Corps Program was the best next step for me as a college graduate. I have a psychology background and a lot of research experience that have aided me in my experience with Marketing. In addition, Sage Corps has given me that solid foundation of training and experience to confidently enter the field. I have stayed on with the company I interned for as a content writer and marketer and couldn't be more excited about the possibilities/flexibility I have through remote work. Amazing program!

Pros
  • Remote - Create your own office space at home or coffee shop!
  • Wear multiple hats - dive in to various tasks and learn new things.
