About Program
Summer Study Abroad ... a once in a lifetime experience travelling to Belize, one of the world´s best kept secrets.
Created as a four-field anthropological learning experience, this program provides students with an introduction to globalization and sustainability abroad.
Our program is ideal for all majors and particularly for students with interests in anthropology, sociology, political science, and international business, giving a general overview of the four subfields of anthropology (archaeological, biological, cultural and linguistic)
Some of the excursions included are hiking in the tropical rainforest, making chocolate in a village of chocolate farmers, exploring ancient Maya caves and the Ancient Maya Pyramid cities, visiting the Blue Morpho Butterfly farm, and studying globalization at a coffee plantation.
A really unique, holistic onsite learning experience!
