About Program

Completing a semester or a year at The American University of Paris (AUP) is an exceptional way to enhance your experiences against the backdrop of vibrant metropolitan Paris. AUP is fully-accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, meaning that the courses you take with us will transfer back as easily to your home institution as any other college course taken at a US-based institution would.

There’s no need to worry about getting all your medical needs met when you study abroad at The American University of Paris. One-semester and one-year visiting students will be registered with a private health insurance company that covers all basic medical costs as well as some alternative medicine.

To help you make the most of your time at AUP, the University requires all visiting students to arrange housing with us. You will have the choice between living with classmates in a shared & furnished apartment or living with a host family.
