About Program
This unique summer program provides ASL users a linguistic and cultural immersion into the transnational Deaf-World.
For more than a decade, the Deaf Studies Department has collaborated with Italian and American Deaf and signing communities in order to provide exciting opportunities both for students and professionals. Thanks to our teamwork with top professionals in the field, and through learning Italian Sign Language (LIS), and Italian Deaf Culture & History, ASL users will be allowed access to transnational Deaf and signing communities.
These are our three different summer programs:
Summer Study Abroad for Signers
Summer Adult Professionals & Graduate Students Program
Summer Two & Three Weeks Independent Research & Service Learning Project
