Holbrook Travel's 13-day natural and cultural wonders study abroad program in Kenya takes students on a journey around the African country from Nairobi to Masai Mara.
Develop a better understanding of a new culture when you are able to interact with local communities and learn about arts, trade and food. Learn the techniques used by the Maasai warriors to defend themselves from wild animals. Observe Kenya's wildlife through game drives at Lake Naruku, Maasai Mara, Crater Lake and Lake Elementaita. See thousands of nesting flamingos at soda lakes. Visit centers that educate people about African wildlife such as the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Orphan Project, the Giraffe Center and the Nairobi Education Center.
