Introduction to Filmmaking Program

afilm offers an English language Introduction to Filmmaking program. From October through June, a very limited number of students learn/ perfect the complete cinema process, from a practical, professional international film production perspective, in a non-academic, Production Company environment. Amongst other activities, each student will write, direct, shoot, edit and create the sound track for three individual short films, one 16mm and two digital, with the use of individual Mac edit stations. Some classes are held at centers involved with the film production process, so as to gain a practical, professional and personal perspective. Students will also be invited to intern on professional feature and/ or advertising shoots (pending availability).
