About Program

The semester program is comprised of 180 contact hours of Spanish language and complimented by a specialization module in Spanish for Business, which prepares students for their upcoming internship. This is the third essential component of the program, either an internship in a Spanish company or volunteer work in a local organization which lasts 5 weeks and also receives academic credit from Benedictine.

The BC Semester Program is an interdisciplinary program which involves the study of the languages, culture and society of Spain as well as the surrounding political entities which affect it.
