Thai Language & Southeast Asian Study Abroad Program in Thailand

Study abroad at Chiang Mai University, Thailand's first institution of higher education and home to approximately 36,000 students. 3rd in the country for academics and 5th for research, this university boasts verdant parks, countless student cafés, and a mixture of buildings.
The summer program is seven-week (6 – 9 credits) experience. Students will be able to take Thai language courses, cultural courses, as well as a number of other courses varying in topics.
For the semester long option all students take a 3-credit Thai language course, as well as additional elective courses. All courses include field trips – either day trips or multi-day trips. These field trips include homestay experiences, a visit to the Stock Exchange of Thailand, elephant sanctuary's, and many more.
Enjoy a unique living experience where you will be living off-campus in a modern student apartment complex with a Thai roommate. Each participant has their own room with a shared common living area.
