Salary / Benefits

From 1200$-2000$ depending on knowledge and area.
Rule of thumb More expensive area more salary. If you have teaching certificate of course this will also raise your base salary.

But keep in mind that living expenses in all cities (except Shanghai, Beijing ) are far lower than the US. So you end up saving much more of your salary than you would back home.
