About Program
Ahhh Thailand... a place where people discover themselves, grow, adventure, and play. The very same place you'll spend 5 months teaching in.
The 'Land of the Smiles' aka Thailand is known for its beautiful beaches, towering temples, and festivals and parties. This magical place really does have a lot to offer.
When you arrive in Thailand, you'll meet your new friends and colleagues with full arrival orientation. Next, you'll make yourself at home in your rent-free accommodation worth 3,000 THB (US$99/€89/£76).
When you're not teaching primary and secondary school students, make sure you see everything that Thailand has to offer. You'll have weekends and all public holidays off so there's plenty of time for adventures.
Visit Wat Umong to explore a series of underground ancient tunnels, swim in secret waterfalls, bathe elephants, sample Thai street food, and partake in many festivals.

Response from Premier TEFL
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We're glad to hear that having support with visas and work permits made your first time abroad smoother, it can definitely feel overwhelming without that guidance. It’s also lovely to hear how valuable it was to start out with other teachers by your side; that sense of community makes such a difference when you're far from home.
Your advice about requesting a placement with other English teachers is spot on, and we’re sure it will help others who might be feeling a little nervous about going solo. And it’s wonderful that you formed such a strong bond with your students, even through the tough classes!
If you ever want to reconnect with us, share more stories, or refer a friend who’s thinking of teaching abroad, we’d love to hear from you.
