About Program
Hosted by the University for Peace - established by UN General Assembly and Western Washington University, this is an amazing opportunity, open to all ages and professional levels, for a unique face-to-face learning and travel course in Costa Rica. Participants will be exposed to a variety of social initiatives, and be able to complement these field experiences with an understanding of valuable approaches, theories and frameworks that are critical in the social enterprise sector. Among other topics, participants will learn about design thinking, social venture modeling, self-leadership, social justice, community building and sustainability.
