About Program
Volunteer is a Latin word - come and find out why!
Whether you feel the need to be of help to others, work as a part of a community, educate, construct homes or work in nature – choose your perfect destination to do what matters to you and embark on the most enriching journey of your life!
Volunteering enables you to get entirely immersed in the local culture and community, experience the real local life, with all its ups and downs. This is a truly eye-opening experience, where you get just as much or more as you give.
Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. However, despite best intentions, some organizations offering placements in orphanages may unknowingly place children in danger. You can read about the potential dangers of orphanage volunteering here.
