Price Details
Love Volunteers registration fee, plus program fees starting at just US$300 for one week.
Program fees cover airport pickup, orientation, accommodation, and food (see website for specific program details).
The Love Volunteers registration fee covers any placements you undertake for twelve months from the start of your first placement.
This fee is refundable if you choose not to volunteer more than three months prior to the start of your initial placement.

About Program

As a Love Volunteers Teacher is Bangladesh, you have the opportunity to help shape the lives of the future generations of these remarkably cheerful and grateful children, and assist them in breaking the cycle of poverty that without your help would be a life-long sentence.

The main duties of a Volunteer Teacher in Bangladesh will be to assist the local teachers with English lessons. However, your presence and involvement in every aspect of their schooling will be an invaluable contribution to the children involved in this project. From English conversation and writing skills, to sports activities and games, your participation and simply your presence will have a huge and beneficial impact on these children. You will also have the opportunity to impact the children in your own way by bringing your own set of skills/knowledge/interests to teach them. Visit our website for more details!

Much More Than Some Teaching Gig

Many of them share one bathroom. They have one fire which they share to cook with it. And their only pair of shoes is the one the school provided for them. The obstacles so many of these kids face are extremely heartbreaking. With this program I was able to truly make a difference. As an assistant teacher I was able to impact them and help them realize their full potential while at the same time having lots of fun with each and every one of them.

What would you improve about this program?
The only way I see this program improving is if there were more volunteers willing to contribute their time and energy to this cause for these children more than deserve it.

We love your title "So much more than a teaching gig". Indeed volunteering provides experience but is so much more than work experience, it involves travel but is so much more than tourism and it involves giving but is so much more than just a donation.
