About Program
Visit as a Volunteer. Gustavo runs the volunteer program. He charges 10% of his regular rate to volunteers. That works out to about $5 dollars/day for each volunteer. The fee helps to cover the cost of the upkeep of the volunteer buildings. The volunteer program is only for very independent, open-minded, patient people, who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty!
Volunteers pay for their food, travel, and any items they need while they are in the village. Volunteers may teach English, math, art, music, or hobbies/activities that they enjoy. Small construction projects and cultivation work in the fields are always popular and needed.
